1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up or sign in, we collect:
- Your email address, name, and profile photo from your authentication provider (Google, Facebook, or email/password)
- Phone number, agency name, and license number if you register as an agent
Listings & Inquiries
When you create a property listing, we store:
- Title, description, price, address, photos, and other property details you provide
- Geographic coordinates derived from the address (via Mapbox geocoding)
- The number of times your listing is viewed
When someone submits an inquiry on a listing, we collect their name, email, phone (optional), and message, and share these with the listing owner.
Technical Data
We log basic technical information for security and debugging - including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the Service: authenticate you, show your listings, route inquiries to listing owners
- To improve the Service: aggregate usage analytics, debug errors, prevent abuse
- To communicate with you about your account, listings, or inquiries
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following providers to operate the Service:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) - to verify your identity
- MongoDB Atlas - to store listings, user profiles, and inquiries
- AWS S3 - to store property images and documents
- Mapbox - to display maps and geocode addresses
- Vercel - to host the website
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf.
4. Data Retention
We retain account data and listings as long as your account is active. If you delete a listing, we remove it from our database. If you delete your account (see Data Deletion below), we remove your personal information from our active database within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data through your account settings
- Delete your account and associated data (see Data Deletion)
- Export your data on request

6. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: HTTPS for all connections, encrypted storage at rest, hashed authentication credentials handled by Firebase, and access controls on our databases. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information from unauthorized access.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Significant changes will be communicated through the website or email.
